Red patent leather shoes I got when I was seven years old.... I still remember then 60 years later. Shoes are jewelry for your feet !! So loved reading your story.

Drooling over your shoes! I have a similar obsession that started when I learned to walk. I'm curious if you've tried Sneex and if they're comfy?

Like you, I used to wear heels. And I always paid the price. It was challenging as in some of the roles I held there were lots of events for which I had to dress to the nines. My go to were a pair of stylish, high block heel sandals which made life bearable. I had them re-soled and repaired a half dozen times over the course of nearly 30 years I wore them. I can't bear to toss them out, so they still occupy a place in my closet.

My go to have become sport shoes and wedge booties. Plus comfy, cushy sandals. I'm one of those who has indoor and outdoor shoes (a habit of over 25 years) so I have multiples of everything, and am most comfortable wearing supportive sport shoes inside on hard floors and in the kitchen.

Absolutely love all the shoes in this article, especially the red Prada ones you no longer wear. Gorgeous! At 5 foot three, I've always liked being able to wear higher shoes, but comfort has become so much more critical to me.
