Another person I follow on YouTube Parmita Katkar said this years ago (and I try to remember it: if you can’t see “it” (whatever doesn’t look good to you), they can’t see it either! So forget about it! I’m very attached to my SimpleHuman makeup mirror so this is tough.
Sound, common sense advice. Thank you, Bobbi for reminding us what we should be practicing - and to shy away from the negative. Your core philosophy always shines through! I find myself microscoping too often - so I will personally take this as a wake-up toward a happier life!
Great advice. Question for ya, recently became a grandma when I married my husband. I have 4 grandchildren ages 12-5. The girls want makeup and I hope to teach them more of your philosophy of natural skin care and beauty. I hope to teach the boys about caring for skin as well. Ideas for teaching kids the importance of skin care and self care without going overboard???
Yes and yes! And, I've noticed...it's a habit to look for the bad. What we look for, we find. It's been years in the making, and I still struggle with this. Lately I've been practicing finding 1 good thing I like in my reflection when I see myself in the mirror. Still not great at it. But pointing towards the positive has helped.
Thank you, this sounds so familiar to me. I am microscoping since childhood days, like my mother also did it.
Step away. We all look better !
This one FED me…and made me want to immediately go out for some bone broth. BB, you are a gift✨👑
Love a warm mug of Brodo right now
Just last weekend I moved my makeup from my bathroom to my bedroom so I can apply it in better light.
I love this. And I’m 100% behind all of it, especially the bit about fat: It truly keeps you young

Love these tips! I’ve started to moisturize regularly… And yes, lighting makes a huge difference!

Omg yes. Yes to all of this. Although I’m a bit blind now so I need a magnifying mirror so make sure I don’t have any eye goop 😂😂
Thank you very much for your tips!
Excellent advice.
Great great advice. Thanks for reminding us!
