Appreciate the concrete info- validating what I’m doing, & thinking about adding in other good brain healthy food habits! I’m a chai drinker vs coffee, but if I were to start, is one coffee preferred over another (country of origin, not caffeinated/decaf)? I enjoy your SubStack as well Annie!

Hi Lisa. Check out the coffee mini-series we did recently in Brain Health Kitchen. I have all my recommendations on buying and brewing coffee over there. And caffeinated has been shown to be better than decaf for dementia prevention.

I love reading advice like this! I get confirmation on the things I’m doing right and I need the reminders on things I know but forget to incorporate in my daily life. I love that the coffee I drink not only helps my liver, but now I’m happy it helps my brain too! I’m 13 years post liver transplant and that propelled an early study on healthy habits that I incorporated in my life. Thank you!
