5 Tips For A Healthy Lifestyle

It's SO Easy
1

Meet model Meghan Hayden, a personal trainer and coach who advocates for a healthy lifestyle, sustainability, and longevity. I spotted Meghan at Equinox this summer, and I couldn’t stop staring. She walked in, looking like the epitome of health, strength, and beauty. Naturally, I walked over and asked if she’d like to model for Jones Road. She gave a huge smile, and I was even more smitten.

While we were shooting content for the brand, I asked her to share five simple things anyone can start doing today to take care of their body. Here's what she said:

  1. Choose organic and natural: Whenever possible, touch, ingest, and consume organic, natural products to promote overall health.

  2. Prioritize eating well: Build muscle by ensuring you get plenty of protein, balanced with healthy fats and carbs that support your activity level. Movement is medicine, and it doesn’t have to be hard—just moving your body has incredible benefits.

  3. Move regularly: Try to move every 60 to 90 minutes throughout the day. It doesn’t have to be strenuous, just consistent.

  4. Monitor your health: Pay attention to key markers like the number of calories you burn. Awareness helps in understanding your overall health.

  5. Prioritize sleep and manage stress: Sleep is essential not only for recovery but also for skin health and many other physical markers. Recognizing stress and its effects on your body can help you step back and remember that we are all a work in progress.
