One of the perks of starting a new makeup company is that I get to be closely involved in different areas such as product development.

I used to be too busy with meetings and obligations, but now I get to be more in control of my day-to-day activities. Visiting our labs is pure joy for me. The first time I visited to meet the team, I saw giant silver jars that hold the base of what would soon become the beloved miracle balm. I met the people whose job it is to close the lids and move the jars to packaging. It’s incredible to witness.
