Dear 2024, Thanks for the Memories

A Glance At My Year

Hey guys,

I can't believe this year is over. 2024 has been quite an interesting year. I am incredibly optimistic and looking forward to 2025.

But as I sit here reflecting on everything we've accomplished over the past year, I realize it’s been quite an exciting one. Here are a few of my highlights—there are so many, so I’ll just share whatever comes to mind.

First of all, I’m more than excited that I’m going to have a second grandkid. Second, I’m thrilled because I’ve put a lot of effort into working out and focusing on my fitness, and I’ve gained a couple of pounds of muscle—I’m really proud of that. I’ll keep going.

I’m also really proud to have received the Pete Bourne Award Impact Award from Women’s Wear Daily—that was such a memorable moment.

This year, we also opened a couple of Jones Road stores. Honestly, whether it’s two or three, it’s been pretty amazing, and there’s more of that to come.

I’m truly grateful to my team at Jones Road, and to my Substack team of one (Gianna) for helping us consistently create content and grow this channel, slowly but surely. That’s exactly how I believe in building anything.

On April 8th, we launched the “I Am Me” campaign. Here’s some of us at Gloria Steinem’s house. It was really incredible.

My husband, Steven, and I partnered with Williams Sonoma Home, launching The George x Williams Sonoma collab. Such a cool experience.

Some highlights this year include being featured on the covers of Palm Beach Magazine and Rue Magazine, along with some other amazing features. Thank you to everyone who has read them, written them, or been part of the process. I’m sure there’s so much more to come, but for now, I’m looking forward to 2025.

I’m not going to lie—I’m ready. The parties are fun, but I really love January because it’s my time to personally recharge and take a break. Here’s to finding whatever makes you happy in 2025.
